Far from being a universal power source, Resonance Crystals are specialized tools that allow Resonators to amplify their innate Forte and safely interact with Echoes. The attunement process requires a Resonator to synchronize their personal frequency with the crystal, creating a bond that enhances control over their abilities. High-grade crystals are rare and highly sought after, often forged in specialized facilities using stable Echo fragments. The loss or corruption of one's crystal can diminish combat effectiveness, but it does not sever a Resonator's connection to their own power.
