Lore & Background

The story centers on the Rover's discovery that their previous iteration founded the Black Shores, an organization dedicated to combating Threnodians and Tacet Discords plaguing Solaris-3. The world itself was devastated millennia ago by a catastrophe known as the Lament, which spawned unknown monsters called Tacet Discords. Over time, humanity adapted and rebuilt civilizations across three distinct nations: Huanglong, guarded by supernatural Sentinels; Rinascita, a confederation of city-states with competing governing bodies; and Lahai-Roi, an underground tribal nation housing the mechanoid Exostrider. The Rover's primary antagonists are the Fractsidus, a secret group seeking to intensify the next Lament, which they term the 'True Lament,' viewing the apocalypse as a necessary step for human evolution.

In Their Own Story

The narrative begins with the Rover awakening from deep slumber in a world where most of humanity was wiped out by the Lament. Shortly after waking, they are joined by Abby, who communicates regularly as they journey through regions like Huanglong and Rinascita. As they travel, the Rover realizes their past self led the Black Shores against the Tacet Discords. The plot thickens with the revelation of the Fractsidus organization's goal to trigger the True Lament. Throughout this exploration, the Rover utilizes traversal mechanics such as wall-running, climbing sheer cliffs with a grappling hook, and gliding from heights. Later updates introduced specific regional travel methods, including flight modules in Rinascita and the Expedition Motorbike in Lahai-Roi, enabling high-speed ground travel and obstacle-jumping boosts.

Reader's Guide

Players control the Rover alongside recruited allies called Resonators, which are split into 4-star and 5-star rarities obtained through Convenes banners. Combat relies on Intro and Outro skills triggered when characters enter or leave combat via switching. In December 2025, a new 'Tune Break' mechanic was added, allowing characters to cancel enemy attacks after striking them a specific number of times. The Rover acquires Echoes from defeating enemies in Tacet Fields or completing quests; these items grant abilities to summon or briefly transform the character into monsters while boosting stats like HP and damage. Traversal is stamina-heavy during combat but free sprinting across open fields, with version 2.0 adding a dedicated flight system for aerial movement.
